About English Success

The CSU Office of the Chancellor has developed the English Success Website (ESW) to help students, parents, teachers, and counselors learn about the CSU English Placement Test (EPT) requirement and how to meet it.

The site includes several important resources, including:

  • Advice for high school students about how to meet the EPT requirement
  • A personalized English Success Roadmap tool, which offers step-by-step guidance on how to meet the EPT requirement
  • Several online EPT Exam Prep tools to help students get ready for college English
  • An e-mail reminder service that provides students with timely announcements related to preparing for English at the CSU

The website is free; however, the site does provide links to English enhancement services for which there may be a charge.
