As an entering CSU freshman, how do you meet the ELM Requirement?

For high school seniors who have been accepted to CSU and have yet to meet the Entry Level Math Requirement, there are two options:

• Achieving a sufficiently high score on certain standardized tests such as the SAT
• Achieving a sufficiently high score on the CSU ELM Exam.

IMPORTANT: If you do not satisfy the ELM Requirement before you begin your freshman year at CSU, you will be required to complete up to three semesters of non-credit ELM Equivalent Coursework prescribed by the CSU campus you are attending within the first year of attendance. This non-credit coursework will not count toward your degree. If you fail to complete this coursework within the first year of attendance, you will be dismissed from the university.
