EAP Math Statuses
Students who take part in the Early Assessment Program (EAP) will receive a Student Report in the fall of their senior year informing them of their EAP math status. Listed below are the four EAP math statuses and a brief overview of their meaning. More detailed information can be obtained by clicking on any of the four statuses.
- Exempt
- Congratulations! Your score met the ELM requirement.
- Stay in math as a senior to maintain your skills.
- Ask your counselor to help you choose math classes to prepare for your college major.
- Conditionally Exempt
- Your test score alone did not meet the ELM requirement. You need to do more to meet it.
- Check the Conditionally Exempt page to see all possible ways to meet it.
- If you are unable to meet the ELM requirement any other way, you must sign up to take the ELM Exam.
- Non-Exempt
- Your score did not meet the ELM requirement.
- Check the ELM Requirement page to see all possible ways to meet it.
- Improve your skills by continuing to take math as a senior.
- Incomplete
- You did not answer all required questions and did not meet the ELM Requirement.
- Check the ELM Requirement page to see all possible ways to meet it.
