Senior Experience eLearning Option - The ALEKS Online Tutor

ALEKS is an intelligent web-tutor that provides explanations, practice, and feedback designed specifically to help you meet the ELM Requirement. ALEKS combines the advantages of one-on-one instruction and evaluation with the convenience of being available on your computer, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The ALEKS ELM Tutor is available for the special CSU price of $35 for 18 weeks of online access.

When you first begin using ALEKS, you will take an initial test that is similar to, but shorter than, the ELM Exam. After you complete this assessment, ALEKS will custom-design a tutorial to help you improve the math skills you need. As you work through these practice problems, ALEKS provides immediate feedback and suggestions.

If you use the ALEKS ELM Tutor to complete your Senior Year Math Experience, you must recruit a certified math teacher as a mentor and complete all the steps in the eLearning Student Guide

At this time, ALEKS is the only current CSU System-wide eLearning option. Other eLearning options are under evaluation.
