If Your EAP Math Status is “Exempt”

If your EAP Math Status is “Exempt” then you have met the CSU ELM Requirement. Congratulations!

Meeting the ELM Requirement is the first step towards succeeding in college level math. Click here to get some advice about what to do next.

Note: Your EAP Math Exempt Status is not a guarentee of admission to the CSU. You are still required to apply and to satisfy all of the CSU college preparatory coursework. These standards include earning a grade of C or better in Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. Once admitted, you must officially report your EAP Math Exempt status to the CSU campus you will attend.
