Welcome Transfer Students

The main purpose of the Math Success Website is to help entering CSU freshman meet the CSU ELM Requirement .

Since students who wish to transfer to the CSU from another college are farther along in their academic careers than entering freshman, they must meet different requirements than those for entering freshman. For example, students that wish to transfer to the CSU from another college must have completed a course approved for the CSU Quantitative Reasoning Requirement with a grade of C or better. A course that meets the CSU Quantitative Reasoning Requirement also meets the CSU ELM Requirement because it is considered to be more advanced coursework.

There are many other requirements for transfer students besides the CSU Quantitative Reasoning Requirement that transfer students need to know about.
