You passed the CSU ELM Exam. Does that complete the CSU Entry Level Mathematics Requirement?
Congratulations! If you have passed the ELM Exam with a score of 50 or higher, you have met the CSU ELM Requirement. Your exam score will be reported automatically by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) to the campus you designated.
When you get to CSU, you are now ready to take a course to satisfy your general education requirement in quantitative reasoning (the area B4 requirement). You may also need to take specific mathematics courses that are prerequisite for your major. In many cases, certain courses can be used for both purposes. Take these courses as soon as possible, while you math skills are current.
If you do not know which math course to take, make an appointment to speak with an academic advisor at your campus.
