Why take a Senior Year Math Experience?

• Successful completion of your Senior Year Math Experience course with a grade of C or better will allow you to convert your EAP Math Status from Conditionally Exempt to Exempt, and meet the ELM Requirement.
• Four years of high school math is the preparation for college recommended by the CSU and most other colleges. Taking math during your senior year will strengthen your college applications and improve your opportunities.
• Many colleges administer math placement exams to entering freshmen. If you choose to attend a college other than the CSU, a math course during your senior year will keep your skills sharp for such a test.
